How Jones Plumbing & Drainage handles your information, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
This site is operated on behalf of Jones Plumbing & Drainage, a plumbing and drainage business based in Blackburn, operating across the North West. Company number 17421180, registered in England & Wales.
There is no tracking on this site and no analytics cookies. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us. If you call or WhatsApp using the links on this page, your number and message content go directly to whoever holds the phone the page links to, nothing passes through a server or a form first. If you fill in the short enquiry form the chat assistant offers, we receive the name, email address and optional phone number you type, along with the question you had asked the assistant.
We use those details only to answer your enquiry. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to a mailing list. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to get in touch.
The chat widget answers from a small built-in script matched against a fixed set of plumbing and drainage questions. It is not an AI service, and what you type is not sent anywhere while you are simply asking it questions.
If it cannot answer, it offers you a short form so Liam can reply himself. That form is the one and only point at which anything leaves your browser, and only if you complete it and press send. The Call and WhatsApp buttons are plain links, tapping one opens your dialler or WhatsApp with a message you choose whether to send.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which transfers your IP address to Google's servers when the page loads. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp/Meta under their own privacy policy. Enquiries submitted through the chat form are delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery provider, acting as a processor on our behalf.
This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may log requests (including IP address) for security and performance purposes, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or ask for deletion of personal data held about you. To complain about how your data is handled, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
